Oxford zero emission zone
Charging zone for non-electric vehicles
The Oxford zero emission zone (ZEZ) is a low emission zone (LEZ) in England. It is the first ZEZ in the UK. Launched on 28 February 2022, the scheme covers nine streets in Oxford city centre. All non-electric vehicles driving on these roads between 7am to 7pm are subject to a fee between £2 and £10, which is expected to double in 2025.
