    Unin is a platform designed to connect talent with recruiters, offering a streamlined search service that enables recruiters to efficiently find candidates. For candidates, this means discovering opportunities without the hassle of never-ending job applications.

  4. We collect certain types of information when you use Unin. This includes information you provide directly to us and information we automatically collect during your use of the platform. All information is kept confidential and shared only within the platform as per your consent. The information we collect includes:


    • Account information. To create an account, we require a display name and email address.
    • Content you create. This includes all content you upload to Unin: profile information, resume, application settings, feedback and reports. When you upload a resume, we process and index it to make it searchable by recruiters. The resume file itself is stored securely and made viewable only if you choose to make it so.
    • Usage information. We collect two types of usage data, search statistics, and profile views. This helps us improve your experience and the functionality of our services.
    • Payment information. We do not store payment information. All payment transactions are handled securely by our payment processor, Stripe.

  5. How We Use Your Information
    • To Provide Our Service. We use your information to operate and enhance our platform. For instance, your resume information is used to make your profile searchable by recruiters, and your profile information is used to display public-facing content to other users.
    • To Communicate. We use your contact information to send you important updates, and other essential communications related to your account and our services.
    • To Provide Insights. We use your information to analyze platform usage and trends. This allows us to provide insights about how users interact with Unin. For example, we can show you what the most searched for keywords are in a specific profession, allowing you to tailor your resume to be more discoverable. Or show you how many recruiters have viewed your profile. Insights which are made public are always anonymized and do not contain any personal information.

  7. We take the security and privacy of your data very seriously. Your information is private by default. This means that when you create a profile or upload your resume, none of your details are shared or made searchable until you actively choose to set a status that indicates you're open to opportunities.


    Default Privacy: Any information you upload is private by default. Only the information you choose to make public becomes visible. You control how your resume can be searched and viewed. Private links to your resume also expire after a period of time.


    Anonymous Usage Information: Any data related to how you interact with the platform, such as search queries, is collected anonymously. This means that while we track these interactions to improve the platform's functionality and your user experience, this information cannot be traced back to you personally.


    By ensuring that your data remains private until you choose otherwise and by keeping usage information anonymous, we aim to give you peace of mind while looking for new opportunities.


  8. Cookies & Data
  9. We use only the cookies necessary for authentication. Unin does not run ads or track your activity across other websites. When you sign in with a third-party provider, we do not request any additional permissions or unnecessary scopes of information. All data shared with us is kept confidential and secure. We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested.

    Please note that deleting your account will remove all of your information from our systems. This includes your resume, profile information, and any other data you have provided to us.
